Three focal lengths in one folding airframe made the Mavic 3 Pro the working creator's drone. Used units deliver the full triple-camera system for the price of a new mid-ranger.

The Mavic series has model-specific wear points that generic "used drone checklists" miss. These are the three we weight hardest:
Same 5,000mAh packs as the Mavic 3, ~43 minutes rated. The triple-camera gimbal draws slightly more power in wind — expect real-world 33–36 minutes on healthy packs. Full methodology on the battery health page.
A new DJI Mavic 3 Pro lists at $2,199. An Excellent-grade used unit at $1,549 saves you $650 — enough for two spare batteries and a year of accessories — while delivering identical flight performance. If the drone is for client work, step up to Certified Pre-Owned for the 12-month warranty and zero-downtime cover.

If you shoot people, property details or compressed landscapes, the 70mm alone justifies the ~$200 used premium. Pure landscape shooters can save it and take the standard Mavic 3.
Nothing structural — the wear items are gimbal dampers (heavier camera module ages them faster) and, on early units, dust finding its way into the medium-tele barrel. Both are checked and priced in.
Only if you specifically need ProRes 422 HQ and the 1TB SSD — it commands a steep used premium. For most creators, the standard Pro with fast microSD is the rational buy.
