The 27-Point Inspection Every Drone Passes

No unit is listed until it clears all 27 checkpoints — bench tests, log analysis and a documented flight test, all recorded against the airframe serial number.

Most used-drone horror stories share one root cause: nobody actually checked the drone. Crash damage hidden by a new shell, batteries at 200 cycles sold as "barely used", aircraft still bound to a stranger's DJI account. Our 27-point inspection exists so those stories can't happen here — and it's published in full because a checklist you can't read isn't a standard.

Phase 1 — Identity & History (Points 1–6)

Phase 2 — Power System (Points 7–12)

Phase 3 — Airframe & Propulsion (Points 13–18)

Phase 4 — Imaging & Sensors (Points 19–24)

Phase 5 — Flight Test (Points 25–27)

What Happens After

Passed units are graded against the public condition standard and listed with their actual inspection data. Failed units are repaired and re-tested, parted out, or returned — they are never listed. Every pass is backed by the warranty and 30-day returns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see my drone's actual inspection report?

Yes — every unit ships with its completed checklist, flight-log summary and battery test results. CPO units also include the recorded test-flight log.

Who performs the inspections?

In-house technicians with DJI consumer and enterprise service backgrounds. The technician's ID is recorded on each report.

Does the inspection cost extra?

No — it's the cost of doing business properly and it's built into every price on the site, including the cheapest Good-grade units.

What fails most often?

Batteries (capacity under 80% of design), gimbal vibration after unnoticed crashes, and account-locked aircraft. Roughly 1 in 5 units we buy doesn't make the catalog on first pass.
